About Jimmy Mercado

Real Estate Expertise with a Personal Touch With over 15 years of experience helping buyers and sellers, I pride myself on keeping it real. My journey in real estate began as the Broker of a RE/MAX office for five years, where I gained invaluable experience managing a team of agents. However, I realized my true passion lay in being more accessible and directly involved with my clients. In pursuit of this goal, I co-founded NEXT Brokerage with my partner Ryan Wire, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and deep insights into local neighborhoods. With over 250+ homes sold, my clients trust me to provide not just the best deals, but also the stories behind the homes and communities they are interested in. And now with over 40+ agents at NEXT, my team can help service any one anywhere. Real estate runs in my blood. My mother, a Broker with over 40 years of experience, introduced me to the world of real estate at a young age. From helping with property viewings and collecting rents to hosting open houses during my high school and college years, I have been immersed in this industry for as long as I can remember. I obtained my agent's license in 2003 and became a Broker in 2013. I hold a degree in philosophy from UCLA, and even though law school wasn’t my calling, the contract law courses I took have been incredibly useful in my real estate career. As a property owner myself, my wife and I understand the challenges and joys of buying and selling homes, giving us a unique perspective to better serve our clients. I am committed to being straightforward, honest, and authentic. You won’t find me in a suit with Rolex (well maybe sometimes); I believe in building lifelong relationships based on trust and mutual respect. I would love to get to know you and have the opportunity to earn your business. Feel free to call, text, or email me at any hour. Thank you for considering me for your real estate needs.
