About Becky Prater

I was blessed to have found my passion and life work at a very young age in the field of Real Estate! I started selling homes here in Chico in 1981 just out of college and it seems to have been a perfect fit! Representing buyers, builders and sellers over the years has given me great experience- watching the business evolve and yet maintaining close relationships with most of my past clients. Chico has been my home since the 70's and it has been a wonderful place to raise our children, grow my business and enjoy all it offers. My husband and I have built and remodeld several homes here and that means I have first hand knowledge to share with my clients on remodeling, updating and sharing my list of contractors to call for a large range of needs. We personally live within walking distance of downtown and Bidwell Park, and are lucky to be able share these Chico jewels with new residents, showing off what Chico prides itself on! I have been a Realtor-Broker for over 25 years and in 2013 I opened my own office- Becky Prater Real Estate. This gives both my clients and myself great flexibility to market homes in the best possible way. I have a wonderful assistant agent- Jolyn LeBaron who manages all my escrows and listings to keep the process moving in a smooth manner. I look forward to meeting and helping past clients and new with their real estate needs- its the largest purchase most of us will make and its MY JOB to make the transition as easy on you as possible! Please call, text or email and I'll get back to you as promptly as possible so we can start this exciting next step for you!!
